Move in check list
1. Call the office to schedule your moving day and time.
Moving Day Directions: You will need to pull your moving truck into the Nov. 6th Alley from either Madison or Monroe. Park in front of the gray double doors as close to the building as possible. Please do not block the alley or park in any of the reserved spaces. You will need to stop by the office to sign your paperwork and to get your keys to your new home before you start moving. We will have the elevator locked off for you during your move. You will be unloading and moving your items down the basement moving ramp and into the elevator. We do have carts available to help with the move. We can only lock off the elevator during office hours and for only 4 hours at a time. We do ask that you do not move items through the lobby.
2. Contact the utility company Memphis, Light, Gas and Water by either phone at 901-544-6549 or website http://www.mlgw.com. The only serve you will need to have in your name is electric. You will have 10 days after your move in date to have it turned over into your name. They may require a copy of the lease or a deposit.
3. Contact Comcast to set up cable and internet. Our Comcast representative is Bobbie Jones 901-619-9025 or contact Comcast directly at 901-259-2225. Residents can not currently use direct tv or satellite.
4. Contact Republic Parking on Second St. at 901-545-0351 for the closest parking garage.
5. If you have pets please Click Here. We will need the animals shot records and a $350 pet fee before they come on property. You can upload the shot records and pictures on the pet policy page.
6. Make sure that you have filled out a change of address form. You can do it online by going to http://moversguide.usps.com.
